About me
Hi, my name is Katie and I am the illustrator behind Moment Muse.
I am so excited to finally get to share this project I’ve been working on. Live illustration is truly a unique and engaging experience and I am thrilled to be starting this new chapter with you all.

Live illustration is a great choice if you’re looking to elevate your wedding or events, art work is completed in real time, providing your guests with entertainment and a personalised keepsake of the day.
At your event I will be using watercolour with ink. Watercolour is perfect as it allows for fluidity and depth as the colours disperse across the page. Being vibrant, fun and quick to dry, this is the perfect medium for live illustration. I also have a collection of paints that sparkle and shimmer, sprinkling that extra bit of magic over the designs. Linework is then added in ink to help each piece stand out with additional details and character.
All my designs are intentionally minimal, focusing on capturing the essence of each person through their outfit and presence.
How it works
Upon enquiring I collect some basic details about you and your event, your enquiry will be sent to my email and I will get in touch shortly. Then we can discuss your event thoroughly and once happy I will send you to payment.
A deposit of 25% of the event cost is required to make a booking, the rest is required 4 weeks before the day. If you decide to cancel, the deposit is non-refundable but I will refund any additional payments.
On the day, I’ll arrive and set up my space, ready to begin illustrating. This can take roughly 30-45 minutes. Afterwards guests can come up to me and get their photos taken for me to begin illustrating. Guests will be painted in order of who gets their photo taken first.
However, if the event is a wedding I will make sure to prioritise the wedding party. Grooms, Bridesmaids, Parents and Grandparents of the Bride(s) and or Groom(s).
Throughout my time there I will entertain your guests as I paint or if you’d prefer you can tuck me away somewhere.
After the event I would love it if you could tag me and share any photos taken of you and your illustrations, this would help me and my small business grow.

All my art work at your event is done with watercolour and ink

What happens to the paintings is entirely up to you! Guests can collect their paintings at the end of the night or I can stack them up and give them to you instead

Of course! I’m more than happy to draw partners, friends and children beside people in their illustrations!

If your event runs late into the night, I would be happy to stay up with you.
I am bit of a night owl myself so if the party must go on then count me in!
I am available for bookings around the clock, whether it starts at 3am or ends at 3am!

Each person takes me about 10 minutes

I am based in Hertfordshire but am happy to travel across the UK, after 50 miles I charge an extra 50p for each mile which would be discussed later if event address exceeds the 50 mile mark.
